Hozelock High-Performance Pressure Washers; Tackle Cleaning Jobs With Ease
There are so many jobs around the house and garden that are made much easier if you use a pressure washer. Cleaning tools, bikes and barbecues is easy. So is removing the winter build-up of mould and algae on hard landscaping and decks to make them smart and safe in the Spring. The Hozelock pressure washer range is proving deservedly popular with gardeners and homeowners. What does the range consist of, and what are the strengths and weaknesses?
There are 3 models, with maximum operating pressures of 100, 130 and 150 bar. Rates of water delivery also increase, so you can choose the right model for you depending on the demands you are going to make.
All the washers have certain features in common:-
- The tools and lances are stowed on the washer for neatness
- All have wheels to make moving around easy. There's no need for lifting and carrying
- Detergent dispenser(s)
- Hozelock's Total Stop System means that the motor disengages when the trigger is released, thus saving water and energy
- The transparent inlet filter allows you to monitor for blockages
- Easy assembly – the washers are ready for use very quickly
Hozelock Pressure Washer 100 bar
This model would be great for small cleaning jobs such as garden tools, furniture and barbeques. Although maybe not suitable for large areas of hard landscaping, small patios, paths and steps would be no problem.
It’s very compact, but still has the facility to clip all the attachments to the back of the unit, which is so handy. Having to put a washer plus tolls and hoses back into a box after use is a real drag, so this is a great feature.
When you've finished, just clip the lance into its holder and use it as a handle to wheel the washer away.
The pressure of 100 bar is still impressive for such a compact and portable washer. For the small to average garden this model would be ideal.

Hozelock Pressure Washer 130 bar
For larger areas of paving, the 130 would probably be the better choice. It would also be more suitable for car cleaning as well.
It shares the same convenience features as the 100, but has a fixed handle so it can be more easily moved around while in use – you can see the advantage when cleaning a larger area. The attachments can still be clipped to the unit for storage after use.
There is a more powerful 1700W motor, delivering more water at higher pressure. The pressure hose is 2 metres longer.
This great mid-sized washer should be able to handle all that you can ask of it.

Hozelock Pressure Washer 150 bar
Top of the range is the 150. This is a heavy-duty pressure washer, designed for large areas of paving, cars and caravans. Of course it will still cope with the smaller jobs around the garden. It's just as transportable as the other models in the range .
As you might expect, it's quite a bit heavier at 19 kg. But as it has large wheels, together with a fixed towing handle this shoudn't prove too much of a problem.
A neat feature is the 8m pressure hose which is kept on a reel in the machine. This means that you can just extend it to the length you need. Great for avoiding tangles and risky loops of hose.
The unit has two detergent reservoirs. These can be independently switched and controlled so that you can use the detergent to suit the job in hand, at the correct rate.
The working pressure of 150 bar will move almost any grime and residue. Any job around the house and garden should prove no problem to this washer. It's a very nice machine.

how to control the air pressure?
I am using a vaccumforming machine where i implemented pneumatis to control the mould movement... but my problem is once the mould switches on reaches the top and when it is off reaches the bottom position..my requirement is to move the mould step by step and should halt at any stage..
you can use 5/3-G type double coil solenoid valve (Festo)
with the control that you can stop the air cylinder in every place and control the distance of step with a timer or limit switch
but you have to be careful because there is also a type 5 / 3 B, and this type can not be applied to your case
