I’m Ken with The Home depot. A pancake type compressor is short and round has the motor and handle on top. The twin stack is just that one tank stacked on top of each other. Some of these have the motor on top or on the side. You can also get some compressors made with aluminum tanks, making carrying a lot lighter, and yes air does fill up both chambers on a twin stack.
