If you want to have electricity in your RV no matter where you go and you don't have a generator, then you are going to want to invest in an RV generator for sale. While shopping for your RV generator you need to be aware that there are three common types available end of these are: a propane generator, a diesel generator, and your standard gas run generator.
If you buy a gas generator, you want to make sure that you fire it up on a regular basis because if it sits idle you could start having problems i.e. the carburetor might gum up on you.
When you are looking at buying any generator for your RV is a good idea to make sure that they run on compatible fuels. When the fuel tank is low, the generator will shut down automatically so the fuel does not get used up.
Since like all engines that run off of gas or diesel, your generator is going to give off carbon monoxide so you're going to want to check the exhaust system on a regular basis. If all you have is a portable honda generator, and you're using it for camping then you need to make sure that the exhaust is facing away from the area that you are camping in.
It is good to know that you can make use of your generator while you are traveling, and in fact it can be even more economical to run things like your air conditioning off of it instead of using your RV's air conditioner.
Do not run a generator in a sleep area or during the night due to the noise and the possible danger of carbon monoxide poisoning.

How do you adjust the intake and the exhaust valves on a 6.5KW old 2 cylinder onan diesel generator?
you remove the two little covers at the top of the engine,on each head and adjust them when up on top dead center,,it has marks to go by for tdc on it,,good luck,i have one is how i know this,,good luck hope this help,s.,,have a good x-mas.
