How to Use Aromatherapy Essential Oil?
Aromatherapy essential oils are fickle and liquid scent elements from natural sources, normally plants. Aromatherapy essential oils are not oils in a sense, but oft part with oils a poor solubility in water. These oils often have an aroma and are therefore used in food seasoning and perfume. These oils are normally prepared by perfume extraction methods such as distillation (including steam distillation), cold pressing or extraction (maceration). Aromatherapy essential oils are differentiated from aroma oils (essential oils and aroma factors in an oily solvent), infusions in a vegetable oil, absolutes, and concretes.
Best Diffusers For Aromatherapy Essential Oil
The best diffuser is the one that does not flame the aromatherapy essential oil and sprays the oil molecules into the air in a finely fog. So the choice is a nebulizing diffuser. It has a little air pump and glass tube that draws out the oil vapor into the surrounding air. One of the models has a timekeeper that admits one to diffuse the aromatherapy essential oil at particular times and in cycles of time.
Adding together 10 drops of 3 pure, concentrated oils can give fragrance into a large space. The oils need to be filled again after one to three hours. It can subtle heighten the mood of a room. The area of its utilization are a classroom, living room, hospital room or office. Diffusers with wax light or light bulbs make too much heat that sets up the chemical molecules of the aromatherapy oils. There are many aromatherapy essential oil recipes prepared without heating.
Massage oil and lotion
When giving or receiving a massage(rub down), adding aromatherapy essential oils to a vegetable oil base or application, makes the feel more curative and pleasurable.
To combine fragrant massage oil begin with a 2 oz. or 4 oz. plastic bottle with the cap. The 2.5 % ratio makes just about 30 drops for each one ounce. So a 2 oz. bottle would have 60 drops whole of essential oils and a 4 oz. bottle would contain 120 drops of total essential oils. Add up 10 (20 for 4 oz.) drops of liquid vitamin E (2 – 4 capsules) and agitate. Vitamin E is an inhibitor for the vegetable oils, plus best for the skin. Pour a tablespoonful in hand, rub hands together and massage on the body. Carry on adding more as required. If the client has a cold, put two drops of Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globules) or Ravensara in the face rocker.
Coconut Oil and the Thyroid?
Hi there
I have just started taking virgin coconut oil (1 week ago) and was wondering if any one else has tried it and how long it was before you saw the effects of taking it and also how has it been beneficial for you. I have an under-active thyroid and I had read it was beneficial for this. I still suffer from some of the usual symptoms (even though I take thyroxine each day) but am cursed with, in the main, brain fog.
Thanks.
Coconut milk/ coconut oil provides medium chain fatty acids to normalise gut flora and stimulate the metabolic rate so it is helpful with hypothyroidism. Many find they still have symptoms taking T4 only medication. Poor conversion from T4 to T3 is common. There is T3 (cytomel) which can be prescribed alongside your thyroxine (T4) or you can try natural desiccated thyroid hormone which contains T4 and T3. Do you have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis? - (most common cause of hypothyroidism).
"New research has shown that Hashimoto's patients with high thyroid antibodies report more symptoms than patients with low thyroid antibodies, even if their thyroid function test is normal. In other words, thyroid replacement is not enough to ameliorate symptoms of autoimmune thyroid disease."
TPO antibodies can be lowered with selenium. A gluten free diet is also shown to lower antibodies. Two deficiency states that cause brain fog and are commonly found with hypothyroidism is vitamin B12 and magnesium. Also, adrenal fatigue, which is found with poorly treated hypothyroidism, can cause brain fog.
