hello Philip thanks for your quick reply......since i put the question on my boiler is working again i left it for about 3 hours after fitting the new switch and it seem ok.apart from my water is sometimes running hot then warm down stairs and warm up stairs ????..............before hand my boiler was igniting for around 4 secs then going out and yes the fan was kicking in for a short period,would that have been some sort of blockage or something thanks again Peter
Perhaps a step by step description would help. Once the flames ignite, how long do they last? and does the blower ever kick on after that?
