I cant get it started I have followed all the instructions.. It sat for about a year or so. I replaced the spark plug, the gas was drained before it was stored. I put fresh gas in it.. Hooked it up to the hose and all that and I wont start. THe cord pulls fine. Pressure builds up in the gun when I attempt to start it, but it just wont fire? I cant find the owners manual, but there are breif instructions on the unit itself.. I have followed them to the T. Seems like im just missing one step something silly... I also tried starting it without it being hooked up to the hose? ANy ideas... If you need more details to answer my question please email me.. THaNks very much..
Between weed eaters, mowers, snowblower, chain saws and more, this happens to me frequently especially when a machine has sat for a season. My solution to this is to remove the spark plug and spray the hole with starting fluid.
Replace the spark plug, attach the wire and fire it up. It usually works right away but sometimes takes doing it twice.
This seems to suck more gas into the machine so it fires.
Observe all safety precautions cause the starting fluid is highly combustible.
You can also accomplish this by spraying the fluid thru the carburetor but I prefer the spark plug method.
Once again, use common sense and don't overspray nor use near sparks or flame.
As a separate thing, you can remove the plug, attach the wire and make sure the plug sparks when you pull the cord.
DON"T Do this in conjunction with the starting fluid.
