i have chicago pneumatic air compressor with a capacity of 200 cfm at 10 kg/cm2 and is used for micronising material in pharma area . presently i have trident make refrigerent air dryer but facing moisture problem , is heatless air dryer is better than refrigerent air dryer?and what is the advantage and disadvanges of both air dryer ?
*A Heatless compressed air dryer ( drier ) is the simplest form of dessicant type gas or air dryer ( drier ) for achieving a dew point of -40°C or better for compressed air systems and other gas and air dryer ( drier ) applications .

One advantage of heatless dryers is that they can be pneumatically controlled, this allows them to be installed into hazardous areas.

Heatless type drier takes advantage of the natural phenomenon of desiccant to establish equilibrium with their surroundings. In this type, wet air (fluid) is cycled automatically between two desiccant towers, one adsorbing the moisture from the wet fluid, white the other being regenerated. The wet fluid enters one tower, passes through the desiccant bed where the saturated moisture is adsorbed. A small portion of the dried air at ambient temperature and pressure is passed through the desiccant bed in the second tower for regeneration. At preset interval, the towers changeover automatically and the cycle continues giving out a regular supply of super dry air having dew point up to (-) 70deg C (atm. )
