How to fix or bypass a broken barb (on carb bowl) on a 2002 Suzuki DRZ400?
I am not sure of the model but it had knobby tires, not the motard model. It is a brass piece sticking up out of the bowl with a barb coming off of it for a hose. It is the part that the rod goes through to pump more fuel as you twist the throttle. Has a little rubber boot on the top of it to seal it off. I searched bikebandit for the part with no luck and ebay for a cheap bowl with no luck. Is there any simple block off fix or a way to replace? Any info is greatly appreciated!
You can look you carb up on the Mikuni web site and probably get a new float bowl there.Other than that you need a complete carb.Without the accelerator pump working your bike will bog so bad you'll be embarrassed to rid it.
